Jesper Nordin and Niklas Brommare

The music of Jesper Nordin, with its powerful emotional impact and traces of traditional Swedish folk music, rock music and improvised music, is broadcast and performed throughout the world by major soloists, ensembles and symphony orchestras, for instance BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Basel Symphony Orchestra, both the Finnish and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestras, Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain and Ensemble Itinéraire. Upcoming events include premieres by conductors like Kent Nagano and Daniel Harding as well as a four day portrait festival by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also had huge success with his iOS app Gestrument that is based on his own composition technique. Niklas Brommare  is one of Sweden’s greatest percussionists, having performed with great orchestras and conductors. As a chamber musician he regularly plays with , among others, IRCAM in Paris and Ensemble Modern in Tyskland as well as KammarensembleN in Sweden. He works closely to the top composers of Sweden, for example Anders Hillborg and Sven-David Sandström and he is also active himself, as a composer within theatre, dance  and television.

Together the two musicians are two thirds of Duo Trespassing in which constellation they will perform their unique music for IKEA furniture, which was premiered at an exhibition in Stockholm in 2009 and afterward only performed once in the Gorkijpark in Moscow.
